Chris Callahan, CFA

Principal

Chris is the lead Portfolio Manager at Traynor Ridge Capital. Prior to founding Traynor Ridge Capital, Chris worked at a Toronto based alternative asset management firm where he was a key member of the investment team.

 

Chris has been involved in hundreds of merger and convertible arbitrage investments along with having significant experience in event driven special situations. 

Chris graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in Applied Economics (Honours) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Gianluca Curcuruto

Investment Analyst

Gianluca works on the investment team at Traynor Ridge Capital focusing on arbitrage and event driven special situation investment strategies.

Prior to joining Traynor Ridge Capital, Gianluca spent three years as an Institutional Equity Sales Trader focused on providing clients with fundamental and technical market insights along with timely trade execution.

Gianluca graduated from McGill University with a degree in Economics (Honours) and continues to be involved with his alma mater through his participation in alumni groups including the McGill Varsity Club, McGill Hockey Association and the Friends of McGill Hockey.
 

William Chyz Traynor Ridge Capital

William J. Chyz, CFA, CAIA

Managing Director

William has extensive experience in the investment management industry with a specific focus on alternative investments including hedge funds, private equity, private debt, real estate, and other opportunistic strategies. William’s core focus at Traynor Ridge Capital is business development, operations, and investor relations.

 

Prior to joining Traynor Ridge Capital, William was a Director and Portfolio Manager at a Toronto based investment advisory firm catering to high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. He served on the firm’s Investment Committee and was a key member of the Portfolio Management and Client Services team.

 

William graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario with an HBA degree and is both a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
